aMELIA eARHART In Hawaii
She was America's queen of aviation.
The mystery and legends that surround her disappearance continue to fascinate
scores of aviation history buffs to this very day. All of these 1934-37
photos were taken by Pan Pacific Press Bureau and scanned from the archives of
the 15th AW History Office except for the last picture which was donated from
the original taken by MSgt Frank Gabel, via the collection of Tim Kalina.
The photo descriptions are included
in the file name, visible in your browser address window, or right click
"properties" on the picture itself.
